What do I have to worry about when washing the chain, cassette, rings and hubs or an all-ultegra, w/sram chain set-up?
Do I need to worry about getting soapy water into the bearings anywhere?
Just dont pressure wash…normal hose pressure with out a sprayer should be fine. What ever you do dont take it to the hose car wash deal with that high pressure shit. Also, I prefer Simple Green over all other cleaners…much cheaper than some bike cleaners and you can use it all over the house on stuff too (like on those small specs of grease that get on the stove hood).
Simple Green is a great ant killer too.

Fill it with mineral spirits and you’ll be able to keep your drivetrain looking new indefinitely.
