Looking for a fairly inexpensive bike case to take my road bike on a few trips this year. Will most likely look on ebay. Any suggestions for brands or qualities I should look for? Is there a significant difference between the soft shell and hard shell?
I have the Serfas bike case and really like it. Not too much of having to take apart your bike. I dragged it all around Brazil and had no damage to the bike or the case. It is also able to be shipped via UPS which is nice. I have heard that the Performance case is pretty similar. Hope this helps.
I have a TriAll3 hard shell case for sale in the classifieds section. I bought it for a trip a couple of months ago but it came in to late from TriAll3 as they were/are backed up with orders. The case came highly recommended. The case is new still in unopened box. I can open it and take pictures if you would like or you can check out the TriAll3 website.
