New to tri’s and looking for my first TT bike. I have a road bike already, but want to get a TT bike now too. I live in AK, so the options for bike buying up here are slim to none, and as for getting a good fit, forget about it. I am headed to DC in October and am wondering about a few bike shops there…I am looking at Conte’s and Bonzai…any ideas? Or, does anyone recommend another shop there? I guess I should add I am only 5’1" and female, so the options and fit is going to be a bit harder and I am looking for a shop that does great fits and has a wide variety of options to choose from—not to mention customer friendly to all my questions…I plan to bring my road bike with as well to get a better fit on that too…Thoughts anyone???
Been to both and Conte’s is FAR superior.
Greg may be the best mechanic in the area.
Good choices: Cervelo, Specialized, Cannondale, Scott, etc.
Fair pricing.
I live in DC and make the drive out to work with these guys. Worth the trip.
My experiences with Bonzai have not been pleasant.
