I looked through the past threads and none(that I can find) answered this question although many touched on the subject. Basically the bottom of feet(the arches) ache when cycling. Someone mentioned that better pedals are those that have a larger platform. After thinking it through, could this be why my arches hurt? I have rather large feet(size 12.5) and weigh about 180 so was wondering if with every downward push, the small platform is putting alot of strain on my arches(thinking of a lever system). I'm using speedplays by the way.
I would first move your cleat back closer to your heal and see if that helps out.
it don’t cost nothing to try
