3-0 down at half time Livepool put 3 past AC Milan in the second half and win 3-2 on pennos to win the European Cup.
Not exacltly the schlepping they put on Borussia Munchengladbach back in the day, but what a night! Amazing game.

I couldn’t tune in until the break, so I missed the first half…OH MY GOD!!! I’m actually a Chelsea fan, but was pulling for Liverpool. This was truely a fantastic game!!
One of the best matches I’ve seen in ages. I’m a huge Arsenal fan, so I couldn’t care less who won…but after Liverpool’s first goal, I found myself cheering for them to make a comeback. I was sort of bummed they took their foot off the pedal after the third goal. Gerrard is pure class.
Heh heh heh, I’ve been a Liverpool fan since I was about 8 years old…it nearly got me killed once. I was at an Arsenal Liverpool game at Highbury standing in the North Bank with 22,000 Liverpool hating Arsenal faithful…to make matters worse it was a Thursday evening league cup game and most of them had been drinking for several hours and the atmosphere was pretty hostile.
The whole game I was keeping very quiet but when Peter Beardsley scored with a few minutes left to give Liverpool the win Ij umped in the air and screamed YESSSSSSSSSS!!!.. and before I hit the ground I could feel the stares of the whole North Bank drilling into me. I got out of there as fast as I could.
I’m a huge AC Milan fan. We really blew that one.
Yeah, I almost dropped the baby on goal 3, and went beserk when Dudek made those incredible saves at the end.
Absolutely unbelievable. I’m still have not recovered.

What an amazing game!!! It was nice that ESPN played it twice yesterday. Also, Fox Soccer had the FA Cup final Arsenal / Man. U game on last night. Another terrific match.
