After spending about a week trying to track down a replacement rear derailleur hanger for my Cannondale I managed to find at REI in Berkeley and I went over there last night to pick it up.
I brought my bike in to make sure it was the right part and the mechanic popped it into the stand, replaced the part, he also fixed my bent derailleur, indexed my gearing, and solved a front derailleur rubbing issue I’ve been having since my ride last weekend when another LBS indexed my gears for $15 and messed them up…altogether spend about 30 minutes working on my bike and giving me drivetrain maintenance tips and he charged me $20 for the part…and I had to fight him to make him take a tip.
Thats what you call good service. I’ve found a new wrench.
