James hasn’t got the memo that brother Joe has no shot at the presidency. The businesses probably realize that and took the high road, fortunately.
The best part of that is how he touts his drinking problem as a bonus, “And I’ve tasted a lot.”
Recent events have taught me that what James Biden is doing is just sound marketing strategy.
But this is exactly what I’ve been talking about elsewhere, how do we hold future feet to the fire when we let the current president use his office as the setting for an infomercial for his own businesses?

Hopefully if Joe gets elected he gives his brother a prominent position in the administration. Continuing the established tradition of only hiring “the best”.

Define “this”. JFK made RFK his AG (IDK, but that seems like a lot of initials, YMMV).
I am not aware of any president having this many ties to business before so the opportunity wasn’t even really there. And up until this president, they put most/all of their investment assets in blind trusts. There may be very good reasons he didn’t do this, but that would mean he should tread more lightly. Which just isn’t going to happen with Trump.
