Bicycle Graffiti; Trek takes the cake

To my knowledge, my Trek 5200 wins the title for having the name on the bicycle the most times. My old winner was my QR Kilo with Quintana Roo or QR on it nine times. The Trek has 10 Treks, but not only that, there are 3 Bontreger’s, 2 OCLV120’s, and a Shimano. Can anyone top that?

I’m not as concerned by the number of “Treks” on the bike as I am by the fact that you have a carbon bike clamped by the top tube—repost with it clamped by the seatpost…even my fiance could pick out what was wrong with the picture!

Look closer, the clamp is opened, the bike is just hanging in the stand. When I clamp either if my CF bikes, I clamp the nose of the seat.

Larry, you’re killing me. What’s with you and Trek bikes? Did you catch the owner of the local Trek dealership in bed with your girlfriend?

I think the P3c is much guadier
.

Not even close, Sweeney…My Kestrel Talon SL has 10 Kestrel logos and 24 Hed logos in race trim…that doesn’t even include 5 Dura Ace logos on the crankset alone (12 DA logos altogether, including the pedals), 4 Look logos, and 11 King logos on the tiny headset), 2 USE, and 2 FiZik…

Have you never seen a Colnago??? Mine has about a seatpost’s weight in logo paint…

Scott CR-1 Team Issue. Logos from Topeak, Mavic, Continental, Ritchey, Shimano + all the Scott and CR1 logos. I think there’s 12 Scott logos on the bike:

Photo? You know the rules.

I don’t think I’d want to see a photo of it. I might go blind.

i once ‘had’ a Trek. I did this to it…

i think it is the shame I feel for buying one that fuels my anger.

That wasn’t a Trek… it was an aluminum frame built by Merida in Taiwan and Trek decals are put on it. Merida makes bikes for lots of companies so hate them all and get over yourself about Trek.

Colnago: 12+
.

Cannondales have always been bill-boards too.

If I ever (for some idiotic reason) start my own bike company, Bikes will leave my shop with no more than six decals total (and no more than two visible at any given time.)

I agree with ya!

I ordered my Guru last year with only 2 Guru logo’s on them. 2! One on the top tube, one on the down tube. Made it look that much nicer. And I know, must show photo or it’s not true. I’ll get one on someday soon!

We look forward to that day.

I have a Bianchi track bike that has, counting stock stem, seatpost, and saddle, “Bianchi” written on it no less than 16 times. Damn it looks cool!!
