I’m looking to get some new running clothes (old ones are just about worn out). I’m intrigued by the Better Than Naked line sold by The North Face. They have great reviews but they are pretty dang expensive to be honest. Are they worth the price or should I go back to using my $33 Brooks shorts at almost half the cost? If they are REALLY nice I don’t mind paying the price.
Also curious, they feel great!

Great shorts, I found two pairs at an outlet store for 1/2 price. I’m not sure if I’d pay full price but they are great shorts. Next to Lululemon I think they are the best shorts you can buy.

Best shorts ever! You can sometimes find them on sierra trading post and with a 35% off coupon, you can get “last year’s” colors for about $35.
Other clothing in the line is also awesome!
really good shorts. Just bought them a month ago and really like how they feel.
Have never run in the shorts but obviously everyone loves them. Dig the shirts, have 2 and felt somewhat silly buying them when i’ve got race shirts kicking around but they are not kidding with the name…feels like you’re wearing nothing. Super comfortable.

They’re great shorts, but IMO the Patagonian Pro Striders blow them out of the water. I’ve got like 4 pairs.
