What’s the best wireless bike computer with candence?
polar cs200 is nice…mine works well for me, no problems and easy to use.
I just got the Cateye cd300. Used it for two rides so far ~25 miles each. I sort of wish you could shuffle the screens around, similar to my Astrale 8 but I guess with 3 display windows instead of 2 its not feasible. So far so good with the cd300. Easy installation, being wireless and all.
I bought the Polar CS200cad. Wireless, HR & downloadable. I also like the stem mount.
I’ve got the Cateye DW, too and it rocks. Cateye’s customer service is top notch as well. I have expereinced breakage of two parts that have been covered under warranty, no questions asked. Not too bed.
I have the VDO wireless (http://www.performancebike.com/shop/profile.cfm?SKU=22428&subcategory_ID=4110)
Works well, easy install, no problems thus far other than a slightly sensitive sensor.
And what is wrong with a WIRED bike computer?
They seem to be more fail-proof than the wireless versions - at least if you read reviews at places like roadbikereview.
I’m extremely happy with my ‘wired’ - though it doesn’t have cadence so can’t help you with a specific brand.
I’ve been using a FlightDeck for years if you’ve got Shimano shifters (first wired, now wireless). Integrated buttons on the shifters are awesome. But I have nothing to compare it to as I got it with my first road bike and haven’t used anything else…
come on…all those wires are ugly, especially with internally routed brake/derailleur cables. ![]()
I asked the same question a few weeks ago. The one I decided to get was the Vetta. I havn’t set it up yet but it got good reviews.
