My wife has a 650 tri bike. She is only 5’2 but is a very good rider. I want to get her a new wheelset for her birthday on Monday. I noticed the Zipp 404’s are not dimpled on the 650’s. Is this still the best set for me to get her even though they aren’t dimpled? She is a tri girl so the wheelset will mostly be used for triathlon riding. We are doing Boise 70.3 and IM CA next year so they will be used for those races. She rides a Size 51 Felt B12 with DA components.
the zipp 404 with a disc cover for the rear wheel is a great setup

If hed still makes their H3 and jet wheels in 650 those are great too
.
I was able to order a HED Jet 90 in 650c directly from HED (don’t think you’ll find it anywhere else). If she’s a good bike handler, it’s a very fast wheel. But it would be a handful in high winds for an inexperienced or nervous rider.
For the rear, I’ve got a clincher disc by Fast Forward that’s really nice.
I ride 48 p3c with zipp 650 404 tubulars. They are the best. Doing Kona on this bike. I have used in the past hed and cormia 650 wheels. I have 2 zipp disc wheels, rarely use them. I do all my training on the same wheels I race with. Many many miles no issues. Building a new bike this winter, they will have 650 404 's on it.
