I agree… love these two races.
I’ve only done Honu but I highly recommend it.
Even though it’s not in the U.S., one of the better halfs besides those already listed would have to be St. Croix. Once in my life I’ll get there to do it…

That’s how I found out that Tupper Lake is a week later than normal, hence allowing me to do it this year!!!
South Carolina Half Ironman is a good one. Small town, but great venue on Lake Greenwood. 400-500 competitors. Great course. It will probably be Sept. 30 2007.
