Not quite Toronto but Ian at https://www.imfit.ca is a trusted source for me. He’s about a 30 minute drive from TO in Milton. Doesn’t sell anything and his only agenda is fitting you properly.

I had a retul fit with Ian a few years back, very knowledgeable.
I had a fit by Ian, suggested in this thread, 5 years ago when I was just getting into triathlons. At the time I thought it was fine, but my girlfriend recently got fit by Neil at D’Ornellas in Scarborough and it was way more thorough than what I got from Ian. Maybe Ian has changed what he does in the last couple years, but I’d go see Neil if I was getting fit.
My go to is Heath at The 11, Shoppes of Don Mills
.
Enduro Sport did a good job for me.
I have had 2 bike fits now at Enduro and they are fantastic
.
this thread would be better with pictures

Agreed, I won’t comment on my lack luster Ontario fitting experiences but I think you can get some amazing fit help here on slowtwitch.

Imfit.ca is now located in London. I would recommend talking to Frank, at Racer sportif in Oakville, I’ve had two TT bike fit sessions with him, one UCI and one not.
I am partial to the guru fit at Dukes. Lorne knows his stuff. I just redid my fit last week. I went through a lot of positions on that machine.
And Lorne is absolutely the best wrench in Toronto. I called him McGiver when i lived there. Genuis with bikes.

Lorne is the man…and a super nice guy too.
thanks. When you say Duke’s, is that the one downtown on Queen St West?

Queen just east of Bathurst, yes.
The great news is that if you live in the GTA/Toronto area you are spoiled for really good options in this area, and with great triathlon retail options in general.
Southern Ontario, is one of the oldest, largest and most mature and sophisticated triathlon markets in North America. There was a time back in the early 1990’s when the GTA may have had the highest concentration of triathletes in North America! Many retailers responded to this years ago. Endurosport started up shortly after Nytro in the U.S. etc . . Also Toronto is the home to Cervelo!
All of the options mentioned in this thread Endurosport, D’Ornellas, Dukes, etc . . will serve you very well.
I am also watching this closely. I can tell you who not to get a fit with in the slowtwitch database…
Do you know anything about La Bicycletta’s Tri Fitting?
They are doing a 2 for 1 tune and fit special right now and sell tri bikes.
Thanks!
You can buy and get fitted for a tri bike at most shops in the GTA that do carry triathlon bikes BUT, in my view, the two shops that know the triathlon market best, and in general will serve the triathlon customer the best are Endurosport and D’Ornellas. This is NOT to say that you will not get good info, and service at other shops in the GTA, if you are a triathlon oriented customer - it’s just that it will be hit-or-miss. It MAY be good, but it may not be optimal. The Best opportunity to get the best advice/info for triathlon in my view will be at those two stores.
Both Endursport - which was the 1st and original triathlon store in the GTA and D’Ornellas, have spent a great deal of time, selling to & working with triathletes over the years. They carry the brands that cater to the triathlete and they are very knowledgeable about those brands.
Oh yes…for the thread in general…if Chris Bastie (spelling?) is still at Endurosport 100% ask for him by name.
