My old DeSoto has about had it…any favorites?
I like the TYR
and the price isn’t bad, either
.
I have a DeSoto as well, and love it. I did see a Zoot bag that was really nice, friend bought it. It even has a transition checklist sewn in it. It was fairly pricey as I recall. He bought it last April, while we were out at Ralph’s. I don’t remember the model number though. I remember wishing I had grabbed the last one instead of him though.
I’ve got a JANDD. I’ve had it for 2 yrs and have had no problems.
I have the DeSoto as well and think it is just about perfect. A buddy got the Zoot and that thing is ridiculously BIG, IMO. To me, the Zoot pack seems appropriate if you need to complete a weeks camping expedition to get to your race.

LLBean makes one that holds two water bottles externally (and upright so that they don’t spill) and you can snap your helmet to the outside. Waterproof also. Its a backpack, so I use it hiking and as a transition bag. But, I also carry my IBM Thinkpad in it when I travel on business. Very durable. LLBean stuff is not super cheap, but it will last for many years to come.
I have the monster Zoot bag and I love it. I can hold absolutely everything in it and even some extra stuff, like a change of clothes after the race. Heck, the bag is also great for weekend trips sans-triathlon.
