I’m 5 feet, 11 inches, with a 31-inch inseam. What would be the best size Cervelo frame for my size? I want to have the best start to a proper sizing. I’m 180 lbs, if that means anything, and not the most flexible person in the world.
Depends on the model…
Assume a P3SL
.
Just go to your LBS and get fitted on one. Many factors such as torso size, arm length, positioning choice (steep vs slack) will all affect your choice of frame size.
Always measure your inseam in cm, never inches. Make sure you’re measuring correctly, explained quite well on this site. In theory you then use the formula: inseam X .67 = frame size.

This will put you in the ballpark, but using a formula is no substitute for actually being fitted on a bike to determine the correct size. Based upon your height, I’ll guess probably a 55 cm P3SL.
I’m your height, but 15lbs less. I have been professionally fit on a 53cm P3, but holding out for 2006 Cannondale or TiPhoon. Most folks around here size the frames too big…as I bet 85% would put you on a 55cm. As mentioned, go to your local Cervelo dealer…perhaps the best network of dealers ever “created”.
Good luck.
