Yup. Profile Design Tri Styke. The go-to saddle.
Ok. So I think I’m going to give the adamo racing a try. I have read several people talk about the difficult set up that they have encountered. Can anyone elaborate on this that uses this saddle? Thanks.
I use the ISM Adamo and absolutely love it, but you’re right – it’s tricky to set up. Correct position for it should be relatively far back in relation to whatever you are using right now. This seems odd, but think about it this way: if you are going to stay on the split part of the Adamo, you need to put the back end of it where you would put the “seat” part of any normal saddle. It looks really funny because the rails on the Adamo are super long. I rode the saddle that came stock with my P3C before switching and was near the middle of the rails. Now I have my Adamo clamped almost all the way at the front of the rails (saddle shifted rearward).
Sounds like you have made up your mind, but maybe you will appreciate the assurance: I had major problems with prostatitis before switching to this saddle. First couple rides hurt, but now I can ride all day and all night without getting numb at all, and I can pee whenever I want! I have since switched to this saddle on my road bike and love it there too.
I’ve been quite pleased with the Profile Design Tri Styke. Used it for 5 ironmans and had no issues.
