I have a cervelo P2C and the stock seat is killing me. I primarily ride pretty far up on the nose. Any recommendations for saddles that are particularly comfortable for riding up on the nose? Thanks.
Consider the Selle Italia SLR.
It treats me well.
-Arione Tri
-SLR T1
-ISM Adamo
-Profile Tri Stryke
-Selle san marcos aspide
Just to name a few, its really personal. You should buy a bunch of saddles next time at the lbs and figure out your liking.
Specialized Tri Tip SL
.
The aspide is comfortable but cuts circulation on prolonged rides, maybe consider the Specialized as above

i ride the specalized toupe in 133, ride the front 2in of it, and can comfortably do so up to 60 miles so far

Good luck with this. I had a big cardboard box of failed experiments in my basement that were eventually ebay’d. I could never find a comfortable saddle for my P2K. The closest I came was the Fizik Arionne. It worked perfectly on my road bike but still fell a bit short on the tri bike, albiet was better than the others I tried. Of course, saddle comfort is a very personal thing.
Definitely a personal thing, but for on the nose riding I like the ISM Adamo, it’s a bit wide, but I got used to that, it’s split down the middle in the front and is overall shorter then alot of others. I would suggest asking around and seeing if you can borrow some of your buddies saddles that did not work for them, ofthen people have some laying around. Might save you some cash and you could luck out and find something you like.
For specific nose riding, ISM Adamo hands down on a tri bike. I have a Specialized Alias on the road bike.
Test ride is the only way to know yourself.
Thanks for the replies. Has anyone tried one of the cobb cycling saddles?
I like me Specialized Tritip SL.
The Cobb V-Flow Plus is excellent. I know I should ride more “in the zone” but going up hills I do tend to slide up on the nose, and it’s worked all around.
Specialized Phenom Gel. Very soft at the tip. Softer than the Specialized Tritip (I have both).

I’m curious to know if you are able to move the seat up so that you do not have to ride on the nose.
I did that and my seat is only 3.5 cm in front of the Bottom Bracket.

Your my hero!! I wish i could!! all my fit frustrations would be over!!
I tried moving the saddle up, but found that I feel like I am producing more power while on the nose, so I ended up still riding up on the front. Maybe I’ll give it another try though.
That changes around for me throughout the year.
I allways thought I was faster while sitting on the nose of my saddle. I would typically move an inch or so forward. I allways felt more powerful.
When I got a powertap on the road I found that wasn’t true. When I sat on the saddle correctly I could produce more power, that was weird.
Just recently I did a FTP test on my indoor trainer. I could produce more power by sliding forward…again, weird. Maybe it’s cuz I’ve been riding the trainer a lot lately.
If you could borry a PT or ride a CT you could play around with it to be sure.
Just a suggestion.

hands down
Blackwell Research–Flow saddle. The original one (there’s 2 models now).
Another vote for the PD Tri Stryke. I went through 3 or 4 saddles before stumbling across this one. It’s been a source of comfort for 3 years or so now.
