Best Route from Detroit to Portsmouth?

Yahoo says to go to Cleveland then Columbus. Mapquest and Expedia say to go to Columbus. I was thinking that staying on 75 to Cinci would be faster/easier.

I would take I75 to US23(and have). This will take you through Columbus but it is the most direct route. If you do take 23 watch out for for the troopers North of Columbus (25 miles and in). At 270, Head East to 71 South and Take 71 through. On the south side of Columbus and jump back onto 270 East and recatch 23 South and it is smooth sailing to Portsmouth.

Going down to the Desoto TTT? I am heading down from Toledo. I agree with JayC, The best way is 75 to 23 (Findlay) and following it down to 270/71/270/23. From Toledo it is about a 4 hour drive.
