Best replacement running insoles?

Gang,
After the blister-fest at IM Louisville that seemed to be caused by my aging custom orthotics, I am planning on using a more “over the counter” sort of insole going forward. I do not have any major alignment issues and really just want something better than the glorified foam that normally comes in shoes off the shelf. Would like a little protection in the metatarsal areas as I can get pretty banged up there…

Thoughts?? rroof, are you out there?

Thanks!
Paul

Superfeet are pretty universally tolerated (and were designed/owned by a larger lab out of the Seattle are that makes custom anyway). I send many pts for them that don’t need a custom one. Most good local running stores carry them and can help as there are many different types/heel cup sizes.
