I have used the Minoura double rear bottle mount with Profile Kages for many many years and extremely rarely (almost never) launch a bottle. Very very simple and room to mount a spare on it (clincher or tubular). I rarely see but highly recommend.

Sorry for not responding earlier been busy all weekend and then Monday was just pure madness lol.
Have you emailed us to replace the hardware? If not please do and we can get you a new set - as those bolts need the loctite on there.
As far as launching, as many others have said it could very well be the bottles. A nice deep neck groove is essential. Specialized Purist may work, and I know Camelbak re-designed their Podiums for this very issue.
Are the Gorilla cages the gloss version? Also happy to check positioning to see if there is anything we can tweak there too.

The gorilla cages are the gloss version, and they are angled backwards, which I think is the only way they fit with the ISM saddle, but will check to see if I can make them more upright. I’m going to try the gorillas again with some purist bottles and see if that helps before changing out cages. Thanks again.
I’m using an X-Lab turbo with two gorilla cages and Camelbak podium 24s, older models.
FWIW, I use the Turbo Wing with those exact bottles, except the Profile Design Kages. They’re super cheap and I’ve had no ejections.

In my experience, you don’t want them bolt-upright, either. I get the least launching - and easiest load/unloading while riding - when the cage is closer to 45deg to the ground. Try slamming a cup of drink straight on the table - the drink shoots straight up.
Moreover, a full bottle will launch easier than a half-empty bottle - the mass of the drink impacts the top of the bottle if you hit a bump and dislodges it from the ridge. So if you have a known section of bad road coming up - drink up!
I raced IM Frankfurt, which has a brutal section of Pavé every lap, for the last two years. I applied these principles this year to end up with no loss of valuable nutrition/hydration - both me and my partner had no drops, whereas last year I dropped my BTS bottle on both laps (same Xlab Gorilla cage).
Oh, and as everyone said - Camelbak bottles are nice in many aspects but they launch every time without fail. Specialized, Tacx bottles have proven super-reliable for me. I’m partial to Sponser’s bottles which seem to be a bit oversized which helps with grip.
Other good cages: On my MTB I had a marathon-style seatpost mounted cage. Specialized Ribcage was great but the stress broke the actual cage, not nice. Lezyne Flow have been super-reliable with the right bottles.
