I am heading to Montreal and Quebec City next week for some vacation with my wife. Can anyone recommend some good places to swim? Can I get into the swim basin that folks are talking about in one of the other threads? How about the Olympic pool?

I dont know for Monteal, but for Quebec city, you can go at the PEPS of Laval university. If you want, you can even come at our tri club swim tuesday and Thursday at 5h30 AM. If not, the schedule of the pool is
