I am currently looking at possibly transfering to a new office which would be in Lakewood or Littleton. Just wanted to get some insight on the best places to rent an apartment and eventually buy a home…
Plenty of places in the SW Denver/Lakewood/Littleton area that would be close to your job, also close to good trails and roads for riding, and good access to the mountains and recreational opportunities. You might want to stay outside the city limits of Denver and be in Jefferson or Arapahoe counties. Good hunting.
Thanks for the input. I am definately planning on staying outside of the actual city of Denver. I will check out the areas you suggested.
Anyone have more training specific details. Like the location of a good pool/group rides and that kind of stuff. If I make this move I will be coming from the east coast so I am pretty unsure about the specifics. I have only actually been to CO on a few vacations.
Thanks again
I live in Foxfield (SE of Denver - North of Parker) and we have great riding out this way - we have recently formed the Parker Tri Club- go on line to see - and in Parker a brand new Lifestyle fitness center opened in Jan 08. Its not too bad a commute to Littleton but you may want to look at Highlands Ranch if you like tons of look a like houses.
Is your office in north lakewood or south lakewood? I live in Golden and work on the north side of lakewood. If you are on this side i can point you at some pools, rides, mountain biking and running etc… On the home it will depend on how much you want to spend < 250000, 3 to 500k <500k. There are tons of good spots.
