I am currently living in the Phoenix,Az area and am trying to purchase a new set of wheels for my Specialized Allez Sport A1 Max. I will be doing my first olympic triathlon in May, the Tempe Soma Triathlon. I have check my Local Bike Shop but have come up empty… is there any internet sites that are reliable.

I am looking for some middle of the course 700cc wheels preferbly I have been told about Zipp 404, Mavic Cosmic Carbone, and Mavic Ksyrium SSc SL. Just some suggestions but looking for anything that I can purchase for about $250…
I vote for E-Bay but remember: Caveat Emptor- “let the buyer beware”. Know what you are buying and ask questions. Try not to get caught up in the excitement of the auction. Sometimes the “winner” is really the “loser”.
You might want to set your sights a little lower than $1000 a pair wheels if you want something for less than $250.
