Best place to buy Rims

I am looking for a good place to buy rims to build my own wheel such a Mavic or Zipp. Does anyone know any good places or sites.

I would pick Get a Grip Bicycles in Chicago…you may want to pick an LBS closer to your home.

Are you in the Toronto area? If so I do have a great suggestion for you.

I’m in Toronto and will be looking to get some new aero wheels for the upcoming season. So if there are options that are as economical as shopping in the states I’d like to hear them.

Say what you want, but Endurosport does have the best selection of rims in the country from what I have seen. They can build you up any kind of wheel-set you want, clincher or tubular, 700c or 650, with any kind of hub you want, everything from bomb-proof trainer wheels to the very best Zipp race wheels. They can even build up custom with PowerTap if you want.

i didn’t mean it like I didn’t like them. Although since they moved their customer service has gone down and I thought the layout of the store was pretty bad (and is it just me or do they have less product as well).
They will always be a special store to me though since that is where I bought my first wetsuit. :slight_smile:
