maybe best conditions ever or, if not, right up there with '93 and '96. best race ever? for my money, '89, mark and dave. second best race ever? david bailey and carlos moleda, 2000.
best drama ever, hands down, the women’s races. julie moss in '82, otherwise, the finish between sian welch and wendy ingraham, race for 3rd, 4th and 5th, 1997.
but this was a pretty good one!
