Best Gravel Tires

Your initial post said there is no comparison between a GP5000 and a Strada Bianca Pro in terms of CRR. I was correcting that and I stand by what I said. A 3 watt difference (at comparable pressures) means losing about 5 seconds every 10 miles, which is nothing. The BRR comparison between the two is uses noncomparable pressures – very low pressure for the Strada Bianca Pro, and high pressure for the GP5000 – so it is misleading when you compare them.

Well, Tom A. tested the same tires and his difference was 4.5 watts but he (and you) both tested the tires at a much higher pressure than I would use in a 36mm tire. Jarno’s test was at 36psi for a 36mm tire.
Plus, I previously forgot to subtract a couple of watts for the tube which would bring the difference from what I mentioned at 19.5 down to probably around 17 watts or a six watt difference (which actually corresponds pretty well with Tom A. if you extrapolate lowering his pressure as well).
Not sure what errors you are referring to at the BRR site but I’ve yet to find anything he wrote totally off-base.
I actually think if you tested yours at a similar pressure it does not appear that it will be all that different from BRR.
