Best Disc for an Illicito?

Anybody have any ideas what the best disc would be for an QR Illicito? I would guess flat, since in addition to the optimized seat-tube, with the missing stay you wouldn’t want to “re-interfere” with the wind by having a bulged disc?

I would be interested in thoughts on fastest overall disc, and (if different), fastest clincher.

Hopefully Brad (and Jackmott) will weigh in on this one.

Getting real answer would probably involve WT time and deciding which wind yaw you will be racing in. Whatever the answer it will be a very small difference.

Best is probably the lightweight disc. Its a flattish lenticular disc, which tests fastest in a lot of cases and its significantly lighter than almost everything. Next best bet pick a flat dsc that you like.

Yep, not much difference between any disks and to find which is best you likely can’t eyeball the answer. You could check with QR, I would think they had that bike in the WT. If they dont have data on different disks then go with the disk they used.
