Best cleats for running in transition

ok my spd-sls are not the best for running. I’m not coordinated enough to get into my shoes on the bike , forget it.

I can’t get my old spd cleats to fit my pearl izumi tri-road shoes

the spd-sls get beat to crap by running on them.

any ideas?

Yes, leave them clipped in and fastened. Bike cleats aren’t made for running.

well you’re right of course. but my shoes open to the inside. it’s not happenin

I know this isnt the fastest, but I have mt bike shoes with an internal cleate and shimano pedals. I can put my shoes on and run in them just fine. I can also get off the bike and run back with them on and not have to worry about stubbing my toe (like my friend did in the last race). They aren’t as still as a lot of road shoes so I know I lose some effeciency, but I am usually out of T1 in around a minute twenty and under that for T2.
