Basebars not baseball

Hello everyone!
I had some questions regarding base bars for my triathlon bike.
Currently I have a 2002 (maybe 01) QR Kilo. I love it, but I’m rebuilding it completely.
I want a new base bar for it, but I’m torn between what I should get.
I know Syntace has the Stratos CX which is overly smexy, but I want to look at everything out there and see what is good.
Just to help you out, I’m not looking for a winged bar, I’m 17 years old and 5’8" and being in the aero position is enough of a drop for me. Heck, I sometimes don’t like being in my drops on my road bike. :stuck_out_tongue:
Thanks everyone!

Get the Syntace Stratos ONLY if you are going to pair it with a narrow mounting aerobar. They are very narrow in the center, giving you only enough room for a stem and ~2cm for extensions on each side.
They are awesome bars though, highly recommended.

Thanks for the advice!
I really think the bar is beautiful, but the price is like “Oh crap”
Especially seeing how I’m going to get laid off soon, I want to get everything expensive out of the way.
Anyone know how much these puppies can go for? Especially cheap prices. :stuck_out_tongue:

$195 + S/H. I just got a third bar on ebay for $110, but that is the first used one that has gone through since they came out. I don’t think you will see too many used ones come up for sale.
