Balance Bars in Kona

The WTC just announced the final ‘menu’ for Kona, and it includes Balance bars. I thought Twinlab was the Ironman licensee for energy bars, but then again, you can’t find them on www.twinlab.com. Looks like we’ll have a new licensee pretty soon.

Any thoughts on the Balance bars? I am not planning on using them, Perpentum and Hammer Gel for me, but you never know.

I like Balance bars for snacks but most of them are chocolate covered so I would imagine they’d be really messy if they’re handing those out during a race.
