I am more interested in the gearing on her bike…does anyone know what she uses in Hawaii?..

Also heard she may have had a substance abuse issue a long time ago and turned to triathlon to kick it. If so, GOOD for her…I think she’s fantastic.

I think her substance abuse was food. There was a magazine article a number of years ago about her history as a former fatty, somewhat depressed, sedentary office worker and how a co-worker drug her out and got her exercising. The rest is history.

I don’t think one can ever excuse people being drugged unwillingly. Shameful.
