Looking at a property with about a 20x40 grecian style pool and need to add a cover. Both to meet CA Pool Safety and to keep heating costs down.
Questions:
1- any idea of rough rough costs of a fully automatic cover?
2- what have you discovered as good methods of finding both good covers and good people to install the system?

It looks like the cost would be about 1200 to 1600 for the cover. Don’t know about the motor, railing, etc.
Most interested in questions to ask potential installers before assign them the work.
I have been factory trained to install covers from Cover Pools Inc out of Salt Lake City Utah. You can do an internet search for their website.
I’m on the east coast, so I can only offer you information. To retrofit an existing 20x40 pool, you are easily going to spend $10,000+ for a fully automatic cover.
