Is there a good facility in austin to swim indoors, or heated, on a per visit basis? The girlfriend has a sprint tri coming up and needs to get a couple swims in to ensure victory, and its still a bit cold in the lake I imagine =)
What part of town and what days of the week?
If Cedar Park, NITRO swimming might have a per visit. www.nitroswim.com
If Central/South, the city’s Dick Nichols pool is open for the public on a per visit basis and is heated and not very crowded. If Central/North, the city’s Balcones is available and not very crowded. Do a google search for City of Austin Pools and look at the hours, etc. They are open noons and evenings Monday - Friday and are only about $2 or $3 per visit. Also, Stacy Pool is free and heated and open year round.
If she wants a swim class, check out the Rogue Running site for some swim options.
UT does not really do a per visit basis to my knowledge.
awesome, she is a short jog from the dick nichols pool, we didn’t believe it could possibly be heated though. very cool thanks!
