Do you know anything about Austin Adventure Racing or Team XTerra (or other Austin adventure racing groups)? I am thinking about trying some adventure racing and wanted a group that has regular workouts and is willing to take newbies (and sucky mtn bikers) under their wing to provide some instruction. I tried emailing both groups. One email got kicked back and the other didn’t respond.
I would drop these guys an e-mail. They are a very experienced (Primal Quest, Eco-Challenge, etc.) Austin based adventure racing team and would definitely be able to point you in the right direction. Tell them The Oozing Monkeys say hello…
Cool. Thanks!
