I’m an aussie expat living in the states, and ill be going home for xmas this year. 18th December till about the 4th Jan.
I’m looking for a marathon, or half mary to do while im home visiting in or around Sydney. Do any of you know of one? Is there a good running site i could visit that has a complete schedual of races or a forum full of sydney-siders i can ask?

Might struggle to find a marathon in a sydney summer though.
Will be some Tri action and plenty of ocean swims around that time, just not sure about long runs.

Thanks for the good word. I thought it might be a tall order that time of year, cricket and drinking seem to dominate around about then. But i thought id look anyway.
Not super close to Sydney (but only a flight). Hobart Marathon (Starting and finishing and the Cadbury Chocolate Factory) is on the first weekend on January http://www.cadburymarathon.com.au/ so one would assume that it will be on Jan 3 in 2010
