Auckland Half Ironman Question

Does anyone know if the Auckland Half Ironman will have a course change?

I noticed last weekend that there are still roadworks on the hill down into Kawakawa Bay and its down to one lane (controlled by lights).

I’ve emailed the race director but haven’t had a response. If anyone knows what the plan is I’m keen to know.

If you can’t get hold of the race director then the best people to speak to would be the contractors doing the job. They’ll know when they are scheduled to finish.
