I was a season ticket holder at Highbury for 4 years. I stood on the North Bank every week and I still watch plenty of premiership football. Henry is not the player he was 3-4 years ago. He has definitely lost a step and he is picking up a lot more injuries these days, a pretty sure sign that his body is wearing down.
Is he still a great player? of course he is, but his skill are declining and now is the right time for Arsenal to offload him for a good price which they have done. Arsenal got the best of Henry, Barcelona will get the left overs.
with ronaldinho and messi there already, i think he’ll do great for barcelona. it seems like they’re getting a lot of dangerous and versaitle players.
i like both teams. i think barcelona’s bigger problems were on the back line, though. thuram - now there’s a french star who’s lost a step.
