Paula Radcliffe just won the World Champ Marathon in a championship record of 2:20:57! Catherine Ndereba came in second 2:22:01 with Constantina Comescu Ditta in third.
So much for being wrong to use the 10k as a warm up.

As for the men’s race, Michigan’s own Hansons runners were the top two US finishers in the men’s race. Brian Sell finished 9th and Clint Verran a respectable 22nd.
I thought it was a great result too, quite an impressive response to those that said she was finished after Athens. I’m also surprised that there is nothing from the naysayers, but then perhaps I shouldn’t be.

Did England send her to Athens to start that race or to finish it? Also did wonders for women’s rights by crying on the side of the course when things did not go her way. It’s a good thing you elected Prime Minister Thatcher so that little girls in England have an example of how a real woman should act when faced with adversity.

Great troll, completely missing a number of facts, strange for an attorney.
She would have been sent to Athens by the British Olympic committee, there is no English OC.
I hardly think that Baroness Thatcher’s actions in the 70/80s are contempory.
If you read Paula’s book and the candid chapter on events in Athens, you will see the reasons behind those actions, even if you don’t agree with them.
An informed opinion is always worth greater consideration.
