A while back we were discussing Amino Vital being served at USAT events. Since I get a splitting headache whenever I have anything with Aspartame in it, I wrote to Amino Vital to confirm that their product contained Aspartame and this is their reply:

The Amino Vital product that would be served at such events such as the
triathlons does in fact contain aspartame. The headaches you get may
not be directly related to the aspartame as there is no medical
connection between the two, however you may want to consult with your
Physician on how best to make Amino Vital part of your workout and
competitions.
