I’ve enjoyed watching it. Today’s stage was fun to watch, so have been most of them. I just like watching the cat and mouse games, the suffering. I wish they’d televise the vuelta.
I guess I’m just a fan.

I don’t think it’s dumb at all. I agree with you completely, this years tour has been absolutely riveting.
The doping situation sucks, but we’re still watching the best bike racers in the world in the world’s best bike race. If you like bike racing, there’s still a lot to like.

This year’s tour has been absolutely riveting BECAUSE of the doping, not in spite of it.
That’s true too, but it does make me feel a bit sad.
The first tour I watched was Lance’s third win. I loved it, I loved “the look”. I’ve just enjoyed the drama each year. I’d rather watch them battle it out though than get pulled. I hope this year really turns it around but I’m not optimistic.

I was a complete couch potato until I saw the tour for the first time a few years ago. I didn’t even understand it but I liked “the look” of it too. Pretty soon I was on a bike myself.
I still like the look of it, the colors and the scenery, the attacks and the peloton. It’s mesmerizing.
