A few years ago I believe Monty wrote an article for Triathlete advocating frequent workouts as a beneficial tool to stimulate adaptation to Triathlon. His theory was that frequency is more important than volume. Does anyone remeber this? Or am I wrong on the author. When and where was that article? Thanks.
I don’t know anything about that article, but Gordo recently wrote about a formula for elite IM running success and among other things, recommends running 6X/week, every week no matter what.
if you want to get fast running 6x a week makes sense, no matter what your level or speed. thats no rocket science.
Do you have a link to that article? Thanks!

I believe this is also a major part of Arthur Lydiard’s system.
