his seat is too high
.

i apologize in advance for my ignorance but what exactly does the number in the seat tube mean???

1274 is the number of days since his last pro race

27.5 on the seatstays is the number (in millions) of people who have died from cancer in those 1274 days.

I weird to see him with something else then dura ace.

aaaah…thanks
.

looks great
.

Strange how he rides a 58 and Contador rides a 54.

Especially since Lance is only slightly taller. Contador is listed at 5’9" on the Astana team web site:

http://www.astana-cyclingteam.com/Rider_Details.aspx?Code=4

It would be interesting to see Contador’s bike specs next to Lance’s.

i’m surprised the bike is so heavy. The SRM only adds like 200g to the overall weight, and the rest is full Sram Red. I can’t seem to see where the extra weight is coming from.

Those wheels are not so light.

good lord you’re right. WTF do they put in those rims?! 1540g for 50mm tubulars with only 16 spokes front and rear?? Gigantex wheels are lighter than that!

Looks awesome!

The extra weight must be low, bb maybe. Has to be perfectly balanced. Same science applied to Weeble-Wobbles.

HOW ELSE DOES IT NOT FALL OR TIP OVER!!!

or magic, maybe?

VeloNews posted the above pic ( http://www.velonews.com/article/86757/what-s-up-with-the-lettering-on-lance-armstrong-s-bike ) of the bike’s bottom bracket but no one from Astanna could or would say what FSU2009 stands for.

Any ideas?

Beautiful lines but horrible graphics. Reminds me of when Pimp My Ride takes a car and makes it into a circus.

.

ha!
at least he took off those yellow hoods. did you see that?

My guess?

Any sports team I was ever involved in, FSU always stood for Fuck Shit Up. So I would guess it may mean Fuck Shit Up in 2009.

There is a lot of paint on the bike, which adds some weight
