He is not gonna come back.
What better way to silently slip out?
Remember my words.

Yeah normally being all over ESPN is quietly slipping out.
I’d be tempted to have my own conspiracy theory…He is not staying so that he doesn’t have to show true colours with Alberto Contador, he can squeeze out of the Giro, and will be the leader for the TdF…
I wouldn’t even be surprised if his collarbone is not broken.
Well, it is a conspiracy theory for sure, but I like it ![]()
Armstrong will win the tour. I said it the day he announced his comeback and I will reiterate that now.
You sir, are grabbing at straws.
Remember the tour that he ‘acted’ empty on the climbing stage and then owned ullrich? maybe he’s at it again secretly putting away hundreds of miles in a small basement on a set of rollers/computrainer
I remember watching this and thinking it was BS…his legs were not telling the same story his face was telling…so maybe my conspiracy theory is good. ![]()

Good thing that he has the 1996 Patient Privacy Federal Laws to protect his right to keep all of his heathcare and PHI a freaking national secret.

Can you explain?
I think he knows where Elvis is.
When he was grimacing and all, going up, his legs were still turning just fine…the whole body attitude was just the same, apart from the grimaces…and I was thinking that he was just faking it.
I think he knows where Elvis is.
They went for a ride the other day.

ohhh sorry i thought you were talking about him wrecking.
I like your theory and it is exactly what I thought when he went down.
Oh the Luz Ardiden wreck, with the bag? Nah…I don’t think he is that good an actor ![]()
Although I think he does his own stunts.
I’ve got a theory. The Giro/Tour is a tough double, especially at his age. The collarbone is a reason to pull out of the Giro and what’s the next big race, oh well, the Tour of course.
“Sorry Alberto, I wanted to win the Giro and then ride the Tour in support for you, honest I did. But now I guess I’ll just have to focus on the Tour instead.”
Why do you think he wants to slip out?
He seemed fit enough at the TOC
He is not gonna come back.

I don’t think he faked the wrecks, I mean who would do that? Maybe he’s just a ‘dead duck’ for a while…but who knows
I was looking forward to watching Lance in the Giro. I wanted to see him kick some Italian butt on their own soil.
Now it is probably unlikely that he’ll make it to the end of the tour.
I’d like to see him race it, the amount of attention he brings to pro-cycling, it would be nice to see… but I don’t think it is going to happen.
And he certainly won’t win it.
