Arione Tri saddle/ Gulfcoast update

This weekend at Gulfcoast I spent more time on the Arione Tri saddle and still like it very much. It was very comfortable even though neither trisuit I tried it with (QR and Louis Garneau) have tons of padding. The stitching is not weird at all and I didn’t feel it in any shape or form. Several racers commented on the looks such as the fly silver panels on that saddle and liked them quite a bit. Enthusiastic thumbs up for the Arione Tri.
My race though was not so great. I held my horses on the bike by staying under 148 heartrate, which worked out to a 2:36 bike split. But even though my legs felt good after the ride, my stomach felt horrible and I was feeling dizzy. I wasn’t able to eat or drink anything on the run and I ended up with a 2:20 run/walk, and a 5:42 total, yikes. (FYI, I had 4 e-gels and 5 bottles of water on the bike)
Now, only 2 months to IM Germany.
