Does anyone have experience fitting a Xlab Flatwing or any other water bottle systems to the arione road saddle?
I am having trouble because the arione has a very long tail and it is in the way of my old Profile water bottle carrier.

Flatwing will work, aerowing will not. I use the Profile Design seat post carrier. I put it a little low on the seat post, but it works perfectly.
I’m not sure what the aerowing is, but if you mean the Saddlewing, it does work. I have one in use with the Arione.

it sucks. your experience may differ, but I certainly would not recommend. too many launched bottles, regardless of carrier - tried Elite, Tacx and Profile cages.
Works better with Arione tri, though.
Well now, I didn’t say I don’t launch bottles with the setup. Let’s just say the Profile Designs cages aren’t particularly good for the Saddlewing.
Aside from bottle launching (which I think can be satisfactorily reduced with the proper cages), what sucks about it is that it sits way up high, especially if you use taller water bottles. Not conducive to “aeroness” and it can be annoying when you sit up and it digs into your back. I think I may try the Flatwing.
