Anyone know what diameter cable housing for brakes and derailluers are required for the 09 Argon 18 E-112 frame. Need to order some for new build.
5 mm will fit fine, however I used 5 mm for the brakes and 4 mm for the shifters.
Make sure you get enough as the housing has to go all the way down to the bottom bracket area. I had to get two cable kits the first time as one did not have enough housing.
My '08 came with 5mm housings all around. With less than a year the left shifter cable had to be replaced is it was fraying (don’t know if spelling is correct). LBS tech suggested 4mm is appropriate as it is easier to mount to shifter. Two weeks ago same with right shifter.
So, brakes, I’d say 5mm, shifters 4mm. But I am no expert. Wait till you get some more responses from people that know.

If you have to run full length housing through the frame just note that most derailleur kits don’t give you that…you’ll need to buy a length of 4mm housing and cut to fit.
my came with 5mm too, i had the shifters reduced to 4mm due to shifting problems.
