Are we running into the water, or.... (Steelhead)

in-water start? I’d like to know the wave start order if possible too.

I don’t know if we’re running into the water, but I’m curious to know how big the waves will be and how far apart they’ll start.

3000 athletes. That’s a lot.

I wager the wave starts will be manageable. The guys at Steelhead do a fantastic job. I’d like to see the schedule of wave starts if anyone knows it.

Tom,

I haven’t bothered to look and see how many waves there actually are… but if you go and re-check your entry the wave is listed on the far right as of at least yesterday.

Nikki

Thanks Nikki.

Guys Tom??? You now know your wave number, but if you have further questions email me at steelheadtri@yahoo.com.

Love the new shoes and saddle. As always it is definitely a privilege to have an opportunity to utilize your expertise. Well worth the wait!! THANK YOU!

See you next week!

any clue the seperation between waves? 3min? 5min?

looks like 16 waves, 2320 athletes = 145/wave - that’s pretty managable.

also looks likes Clydes wave 15. Ug. :frowning:

I wonder what that means.

Last year there was something 2300 people and the start was off the pier in waves about 5min apart. It was a decent start. No problems. The drop from the peir is only about 5-6 foot.
