From the cyclingnews site-- These look like the Rotor rings.
So let me ask something completely absurd. I just got a new spider to convert my Powercranks to a compact double, and need a set of chainrings. I was about to order a set of FSA 50 and 34 tooth rings. Would it be complete lunacy to put a set of these babies on my PC’s instead? Would the earth stop spinning on it’s axis? Would my knees instantly explode? What the heck would happen? (do these even come in 110 BCD)?
Yes. We got those out asap, the did not make it to the engravers. Production models have lazer engraving. Look for a few more Pro Tour riders to be on these Q-Rings in the next few weeks.
More info following Interbike.

These are not for sale to the public at this time. Use will be limited to a very select few pro/elite road racers and some test facilities. You may also see them on a few pro Ironman bikes this year, and at the Vuelta.
That is about all the info we are releasing right now.

oops, mistakenly deleted the post, but reposted the reply.
Oh well. They look very interesting. Can’t wait until they’re released to the general public.
We are taking our time, doing our homework.
So, these are oval shaped? It’s sort of hard to tell from the photo, at least on my computer screen.
Yes, very slight oval, raises gearing slightly, but this concept has not been tried before, each chainring can be adjusted to a particular rider’s style. Concept is to speed a rider through the dead spot, we are testing the performance benefits right now.

will they still work if the rider wears a gold rolex? or must he wear another silly brand?
You lost me.
Awesome. If you need an AGer to test them for you, I’m just down the road.
I have two riders here in SoCal testing them, although they are both US elite national time trial champions and one is a masters world time trial champion.

Keep us posted as much as you can Gary. You could have a blossoming buyers market sat here waiting…
I saw those on Petr Vabrousek at the European LD Championships. On that day those worked a lot better than Sergio’s Ti Rotorcrancks
Petr Verbrousek, Oscar Galindez, Igor Gonzalez Galdeano and Isidro Nozal
