I have a QR CD0.1, and I would like to replace the rear tektro brake. Has anyone installed a direct mount 105 or ultra rear calliper? Was there a performance improvement? Did it fit, line up nicely, and was it completely compatible?
I had the same question last year and checked directly with Shimano. Unfortunately, the direct mount brakes will not fit because it is a different type of mount.
I also ended up going with a Tririg Omega SV on my CD0.1. I just enlarged the plastic brake cable exit to allow the housing to bend just enough to fit the hangar.
