The Whirlpool Steelhead Triathlon will add an Aquabike Division to the race in 2005. The AquaBike will consist of a 1.2 mile swim and a 56 mile bike.
Six divisions will win awards in the AquaBike - Men 29 and Under, Men 30-39, Men 40 and Over, Women 29 and Under, Women 30-39, Women 40 and Over. The top 3 in each age-group will win an award.

What happened to the kids race at Steelhead? Is it just an issue of not having a place for the kids to ride at Jean Kloc Park? My son was crushed

Thom - We will still have a kids event - An Aquathlon on Saturday at 2:00 PM. We could not secure the kids site on Sunday morning and the cost of police for the event was to much for the budget to handle. We will have a great swim, run event for the kids on the beach and they will get to finish under the Steelhead Banner at Jean Klock! Z
Do you guys at Capri have anything to do with the Reebok womens series?
Yes- Capri Events run the Reebok Women’s Triathlon Series. Capri is a partner in management of the Steelhead Triathlon. Z
